Still quite possibly the most underrated hop in our repertoire. Taiheke provides a bold citrus hit with grapefruit and lime at the forefront alongside New Zealand’s characteristic tropical punch. As the New Zealand Hops crew state, Taiheke “can do some really great things for the hop advocate when matched up with some of the other New Zealand aroma heavy weights such as Motueka or Riwaka. A fun hop in the brewery which literally sighs with pleasure when plunged into a hop back” – we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
